History Of #

Student pairs will ech complete one “history of” presentation during the semester.

These 10 minute presentations will showcase some history related to textiles. Past topics have included the history guitar strings, history of denim, history of Navajo mending, etc. The goal is for you to perform some original research on a topic that interests you and, in sharing it with the class, to help us envision topics for our final projects.

Your presentations should include at least 3 references to source materials and one slide that outlines a few of the questions that still remain for you as well as a summary of the heuristics that have shaped this history.
